Maybe you're spot on and what she really meant was "because of the connection between the Bear Stearns bailout and the problems at FNM/FRE, the taxpayer has already funded FNM too much." I'm just saying that this is a stretch. But I'll admit it's nitpicking and we'll really get a better understanding of her depth of knowledge when she has to answer some unscripted, unrehearsed questions from the public, the public she is running to represent.
