Of course they aren't. The Republican coalition is an abusive relationship. Wall Street and Washington elite dictate to the poor and middle class why they need the them. Rich make themselves richer and have the poor fight their wars. Rich blame the "media" (which they own) about smear tactics. Rich continue to reduce education funding to keep people stupid. Wash, Rinse, Cycle. It's comical. I for one thank the Red State populace for fighting my wars so I can keep my Wall Street job and send my kids to the best schools. And believe me, I wasn't complaining when Bush cut my taxes. That's why I won't be shedding too many tears if Obama loses. It will simply prove what I already know in my gut (I knew it after Shrub beat Kerry, actually); that most Americans are morons because not enough are hardcore evangelical and by definition only a few are "rich". My tax cuts will be intact and I'm sure McCain has some trickle down treats for me. Am I better off than 5-8 years ago? Hell yea.
