Dude... evolution IS creationism.... unfolding.

You are contradicting yourself to some extent but not entirely. Most people in the country who are religious would qualify as creationists, most of them would not disagree with that bare statement as it lies, and are not extremists who would replace life sciences with the literal story of Eden from scriptures. To suggest otherwise would be disingenuous.

If you say you are afraid of how religious fanatics might corrupt the entire curriculum to be an oppressive indoctrination of scriptural interpretation, very few people in this country would see it any other way.

Perhaps it would help if you did know exactly what is being proposed, not by radical extremists, but by the average believer who supports the idea, almost all are educate and many of them scientists.
