Jesse Ventura's great weakness is that he think his ideas are so great that he does not have to work. Everyone will see his brilliance and of course pass his bills. That is why he could go be an XFL analyst while he was governor. He was lucky that the Independent party found a decent staff for him that was willing to work hard during the legislative session.

Jesse Ventura is not fully satisfied with being the governor of Minnesota. In his spare time, he has refereed a wrestling match and coached high school football. Starting in February, he will have a Saturday night gig: analyzing XFL football games for his old pals Vince McMahon, the chairman of the World Wrestling Federation, and Dick Ebersol, the chairman of NBC Sports.

"State offices are closed on Saturdays and Sundays, anyway," Ventura said during a conference call yesterday. "I don't traditionally work then."
