So far, the Palin choice appears to be helping McCain. He has closed the gender gap with Palin on the ticket. I too am quite concerned about her extreme views. Anyone who is not a fundementalist Christian should be concerned too. Apparently, her previous Pentacostal church was anti-Catholic and anti-Jewish (you won't find that on Fox News). Everyone else is going to hell sort of stuff. I have to verify that, but if true it is disturbing that someone who has participated in such religious bigotry is a major party candidate. Also, this end of times theology is disturbing. What if she or someone around her convinces her it is time to end times? We don't need that sort of extremism near our nuclear arsenal. I usually oppose Republicans on idealogical differences. This time it might be our survival that is at stake.
