The demohacks have a schizophrenic personality, they bash business but business is the ONLY thing that creates jobs... if my company has to pay more taxes under obama, the I plan to fire as many people as I have to in order to cover those added tax costs... taxing businesses doesn't create jobs, it discourages job creation, but try to explain that to one of those lefty looneys...<g>

It wasn't a Clinton recession, it was a Greenspan recession. Greenspan was the one that flooded the economy with cash and never said a word when every dot com was running outrageous PE's.

Greenspan was also the one that lowered rates to 50 year lows and never cared about regulating the mortgage scammers that were selling houses to the unemployed with zero down.

Our companies are ALREADY going offshore. If they don't go offshore, they send their factories and jobs offshore. I think we should use "carrots and sticks" with corporate America. If you move offshore, then you will be hit with punitive taxes on business you do in the U.S. If you build factories and hire Americans then you will get "exceptional" tax breaks for doing so. The same will go for foreign corporations that bring manufacturing to the U.S.

I don't think Obama has said he was going to raise taxes on anyone other than the people that got tax cuts from Bush and people that are paying capital gains taxes (which would be me when I have a good year). I can live with that and I think McCain could too. McCain was against Bush's tax cuts and I think he still is. I wouldn't be surprised if
McCain ALSO went along with raising Cap. Gains rates.

"When will congress draw a line and stop spending?"

That's a tough one. I don't know if that's gonna happen regardless of who is elected. Go through ALL the ads for Congressional Candidates and see if you can find any that say I DIDN'T or WON'T bring any money to my District if I'm elected....LOL
