I'm just saying that we don't know what the force of gravity is or what causes it. We know it exists because of what it does. I see God basically the same way. Most people of faith, throughout their lives, have either personally had an experience with a higher power...a power that seemed very external to their own will or psyche. Or they've seen the transformative power of God work through other people. So they believe in the existence of God by what he/she/it does. The difference is that there aren't a bunch of people out there saying 'Nah, gravity doesn't exist....you just think it does or you are delusional' like there is with a belief in a higher power, God. That's all.
