Michael, my WAG is that Obama will focus on attacking Palin's political record while at the same time trying to get the attack dogs in the media to back down on the personal, prejudiced attacks.

It shouldn't be that hard for Obama to pull off. Then he can get back on track and make this a real race once again. Only problem is that the left-wing bloggers, like the liberals on this thread, can't be controlled in any way whatsoever.

The libs might try not to be arrogant and condenscending to religous folks, gun folks, blue collar--hands dirty folks, not to mention folks who think al queada poses an immediate existential danger to the US, but they seemingly cant. I think obama gets it but many of his supporters cant get over one or more of these prejudices..
