Oh sure it would. I lived at sea level for eleven years, and had no trouble adjusting to 9000 feet. I was going to send you a picture proving it, but my snapfish account is acting up.

There is a lot of truth to that altitude change. My niece brought her husband here for a visit. He had never been out of Florida. By the end of his first day here he was too ill to even get out of bed. He was still sick a week later when they got on the plane to leave. Two days after returning to FL, he was fine. Of course, we're a mile high here when you step off the airplane. Quite a change from sea level.
