>> Palin's Beliefs Draw Closer Scrutiny

What is WITH you people?

Trying to take the land of religious freedom and impose some kind of religious litmus tests on people running for office?

You don't mind Obama worshiping in a church where "God Damn America" is the order of the day, where racism and terrorism are fully supported by the church, yet you criticize this woman for practicing religion however she chooses?

You people are slime.

Here' my warning to you guys. Back in 84 Reagan was running against Mondale. I had had an epiphany in 1980 and crossed over to the dark side for the first time to support reagan so i was for him. My wife and i went out to dinner in october 84 with close friends. Hubby is a college prof. Polls were alread showing reagan with a lead. He said flat out that the polls were wrong because all his buddies at the college were voting for mondale. I said to him that he just proved my point that reagan would win. When a presidential race becomes one between the elites and the ordinary man in a center right nation such as the US, the dems dont win. Palin galvanized both bases--one pro and one con with the liberal base being so vituperative and personal with her and about her that it makes her choice more like a shot of double espresso. But John, i know all your friends are voting for obama so why worry? Do you see my point?

JF, I expected that blog entry to come from dailykos.com, not CBS.

"Palin's former pastor, Tim McGraw, says that like many Pentecostal churches, some members speak in tongues"

Some members? That would be a particularly unusual Pentecostal church. Speaking in tongues is considered to be a sign of the presence of the Holy Spirit. Only slackers don't do it.
