There were reasons to restrict imports from Arab nations (Dems) and reasons NOT to restrict them (REP)... everyone picks their spots. Republicans RIDICULED Dems that wanted to stop imports and produce here... ridiculed. IT's always easy to blame someone else. The fact is LOTS of people don't want drilling off their beaches or in environmentally sensitive areas. Debate on that is fine... but acting like it's some lie or evil... common, get a life. dAK
