What is driving that anger (from the Lizzies in the world) is the manipulation of the pick. Palin was not choosen because she was the most qualified, most experienced, or even the best advocate for change in Washington. She was choosen as a political stunt to win an election.

The anger that the left feels is, quite frankly, completely understandable. After running the country into the ground for eight years, the Republican answer is to run a man who votes with Bush, has changed his positions to be like Bush, who has become McBush. Then, they attempt a slight of hand by nominating a woman in a attempt to fool Hillary supporters and fire up the base - a woman who admitted to not paying much attention to what was going on in Iraq.

The hypocrisy of the outcry on Palin is incredible. Where was that outcry when Obama was being smeared, when people were holding up 'Iron My Shirt' signs at Hillary events? Palin is an unknown - a potential heartbeat from the presidency - and asking about her stances on issues is somehow wrong? Jeez, the woman said the other day that the problem with Freddie and Fannie is that they wasted government dollars - is this woman really qualified for ANY national office?
