That would send our economy into a tailspin. Our whole economy is based on guarantees - that's why we need regulation, to make sure that the rules are followed, and that we can back those guarantees up. We need to return to a time when we could police the greed, not let it run rampant. I am extremely fearful that the Chinese will launch a war - without a single missile or bullet. They'll just sell dollars - ALL of them. We'll see a return of the 35% unemployment, breadlines, and hunger of the depression. They wouldn't do that, because they'd lose a whole lot of value? Since when has the Chinese government done anything that made sense?
