Prayer and belief in a higher being can be very generic, Steve. Consider AA and it's 12 step program. And I'm not worried about my own family or children. I'm just saying I somewhat regret that any mention of God has been pushed out of the schools. I will say, however, that my children are much more likely to be impacted in a negative way by the behavior of a child coming from an non-religious family than they are by the school behavior of a practicing Jewish or Muslim child. The religious and the non-religious don't live separate lives from each other.
