I can't believe Biden was somehow shown to be the best available. It's like Perot's VP choice. Best available. Not a great pool. Good reputation as a fighter, but he hasn't shown it yet in this campaign. I'm no Biden lover, but I think I would've rather had him than Kaine or any of the other names bandied about. Palin was out of left field, and was a brilliant pick, as long as Troopergate gets shut down. -Z
