Minister's kids...there used to be some truth to that. My church is a lay church so we don't have a ministry. I've always felt sorry for the burden a minister's family feels in knowing they might be judged by the kind of kids they produce. I worried they might thus tend to come down way too hard on their children....the whole shaming, guilt trip thing....and yes, the children will rebel from this pain.

Now though, it seems to me that most religious people, inc. ministers know this and have moderated their approaches. I see more laid back people now who trust that their kids, like the apple, aren't going to fall too far from the tree and are very accepting of kids being kids.
