one's allocation stance + feel on the future => dictate one's position regarding enthusiasm for ramp vs crash, and that, in effect, determines whether one is at null position.

Null position is good without cost maintenance. How many times do you see lawsuits brought to property owners because of lack of maintenance to renters ? Can't be too comfortable to sit on pile of rubble when markets are crashing down.
