The "Access Road" ended up being used for a much more cost effective solution, a ferry, I believe. This is just bullshit. Attack dog bullshit. If there is a failure here, it is on the part of the Obama campaign to find any dirt. Idiot...the Wall street journal reported this stuff...the last time I looked it was not on Obama's payroll. She is on video supporting the bridge as "good for Alaska infrastructure"...now she says that she told congress "thanks but no thanks"...while she took all the money and used it elsewhere. So there are actually two lies here...the first is that she canceled the bridge, and the second that she is fiscally conservative and will fight against earmarks... In fact it was just reported that she used the money for the bridge, which Alaska got despite the fact that the bridge was canceled, and she built a $40M access road to the very bridge that she claims to have canceled.
