True. Stuff like requiring rape victims to buy their own rape kits shows she is a true compassionate conservative. However, I do think her stance on abortion makes more logical sense than the mainstream party stance. If you believe a fetus is a living human being and that women should not be allowed to control their own bodies, then abortion being illegal for any reason, including rape, incest or threat to the health of the mother, makes perfect sense. It isn't the baby's fault if he or she was produced by rape or incest. If you do believe in those exceptions, then you are really a mainstream Democrat. The fanatics who think abortion is a form of birth control are as wrong as Palin is.
