Ah, no. Since she wasn't in active labor and since this was her 5th time giving birth I personally would default to the idea that she and her doctor know her better then you or I.

Why would you presume to know more about her then her and her doctor?

I love all of these man that of a sudden are experts on labor or child care or where a woman's place is. Rather sexist at best.
