I didnt' say he wasn't polling better, of course he is, not only are you looking at Palin but you are looking at his campaign bounce. Thats not the point. What that article says is 1. Most of his bounce is in the south 2. Very little benefit in the west. Those can be true and he can still be up in these national polls. Is it true or not, according to GALLUP which is the premier polling org it is so find something that refutes it. PALIN is a lightening rod for criticism. To assume she is going to show up and simply push McCain over the top is naive. All along we all know she FIRES UP THE BASE. Thats what you are seeing.
