It's not for Sarah to decide.
She doesn't have that right, particularly so late in the term
Remember, the unborn baby must be protected first.

And I seriously doubt she took the time to see any doctor, let alone "hers" back in AK. Everything I've read and heard says that baby was in danger and the last thing she should have done was expose the now very vulnerable unborn baby to such a harsh, unsanitary environment.
