I guess what I don't understand is that if someone WANTS to "speak in tongues" whose business is it? If it is part of someone's religious ritual, I just can't see where the problem is. Aren't we here in this country BECAUSE the Founders wanted us to have pretty much absolute religious freedom? I thought that was a foundational principle for our country. It doesn't seem to bother them that many Islamacists believe they should murder all Americans! Surely, speaking in tongues is no worse than THAT.
