When Palin busted up the good ol' boys network in Alaska, her enemies there never figured on her being catapulted into the national spotlight as a VP candidate... they must be shaking in their boots, because if she gets in, then she'll direct the Justice Department to focus on the corruption she knows about in Alaska... is there any wonder why all the smears about Palin are coming from Alaska...<g>

I believe in 1980 we were the biggest Creditor Nation in the World and today we are the biggest Debtor Nation in the World.

And our debt lies not only with the government, but also individuals. We have one of the lowest savings rates in the world.

Besides our "current debt" of about $9.7 Trillion, we also have unfunded "future debt" of almost $60 Trillion from Medicaid and Social Security, right at the time when the Baby Boomers are going to be retiring.

The Debt is THERE, future GDP growth is not necessarily there.
