No matter what? Well, yes and no. If Obama came out and called Mayor Daly a pig, that would alienate a lot of the Chicago voters and if he said that Daly was a pig who wore lipstick, that would alienate even more.

But, barring either of those events, you are right. Chicago--and most of the entire state of Illinois--is Obama crazy. And I do mean crazy.

But Illinois was crazy for Adlai Stevenson too and you remember what happened to him when Ike came along.

Chicagoland has such a surplus of Dems they even ship thousands of them up to vote in Milwaukee after they've cast their ballots in the Windy City.
