Yikes, Sam. I remember it well and went through the same conversations with an investor group I was part of at the time. The same supply-demand arguments were made and I kept arguing back that the whole thing smelled.....that kind of demand doesn't emerge in a 6 mo. period, etc. It got a little testy at times but I stood my ground. At the time, I was already growing disenchanted with the group and their stock analysis. After witnessing what I thought was an example of really perverse stupidity, lol, I left so have no idea what their reactions were when that whole debacle came to light.

Btw, this morning I heard on CNBC that last year 2000 small trucking companies went under because of diesel prices. Where's the outrage I wonder.
