mindmeld, I have never been pro-Bush. I am confident that he's the worst president of my lifetime, at a minimum.

But facts don't change. And your thought that I'll post "the usual neocon response" makes it pretty clear that you're so focused on partisan issues that you won't look at the facts in an objective manner.

Again, just for clarity--the very best thing for alternative energy has been the high price of crude. The price of crude has encouraged research over the past two years that is unprecedented. If, as you imply, you think President Bush is to blame for the high price of crude, then it is difficult to paint him as anti-alternative energy.
