On Winn:

He's referring to my post #7666 of two years ago with which I totally agree now. Funny about something that's true. If it's true, it will always be true.

Ahaahha starts with a false premise, then leaps to a silly conclusion and then bans to avoid replies.

There's no false premise there. Only your prejudiced inability to see that you fit the premise.

I earned my living in the oil industry [Texaco Canada and BP Oil International].

So what? Simmons claims he's an expert, but he's been almost as wrong as Hubbert and the Peekers. Simmons is a total loser. He says, all the world big finds have been made. For example, the USGA says there's 5B bbls in Bakken. Private geologists say 500B conservatively. USGA errs on the side of tree huggers for political reasons and Simmons buys their bullshit. Such experts. I've been exposing them for 40 years.

The oil industry produces and sells oil.

The 'crats have successfully nullified that to such a great extent over the last 30 years that the US has to import most(60%) of its consumption. You side with the 'crats. Some oleman, you are. You're a hypocrite who may have worked within the company minions, but that doesn't mean shit. So what? Half of the employees at BP and Texcan want Big Oil taxed into the grave. You one of them? BP has a collection of traitors everywhere in it.

BP's whole bag is scavenger. They're for alternatives because they think they can run with that political football. BP is a loser. They have no clue. Their attempts at alternatives will be a total disaster for the company just as the tar sands have and will be for all the suckers that dropped their dough into those pies.

There were major faults such as selling petrol with lead in it, and there could well be a class action suit for knowingly harming brain development. But that was more a political failing by politicians than evil by oil.

I do recall that the US govt. got the Russians to take the fusel oil out of vodka. Hip hip hooray.
