"That's not actual debt" It IS if you want to get elected to National Office in the U.S. That's why Bush's little privatization plan got shut down before it ever really got started. They could change the the "specifics" but as long as the U.S. is a Democracy they won't be able to cut the programs to any great extent or they'll face political extinction. "Also, we aren't alone in this" We ARE alone when it comes to spending so much of our revenue on National Defense. I think we still spend more than the next 100 countries combined.
