I seldom watch Fox News though its marginally better than CNN and way better than MSNBC. I watched Palins speech on CSPAN and recommend it. We're losing friends around the world not gaining if you haven't noticed. Thats overly negative. Germany, France, Canada have in the past few years elected governments much friendlier to the US than their predecessors. After 911, AQ was very popular in the Muslim world. After a few years of seeing AQ killing Iraqis and other Arabs elsewhere, they are much less popular. Frankly, its our involvement in Iraq that lured AQ to send jihadis to fight a civil war in Iraq. NATO countries are helping us fight in AFghanistan. Sure we're carrying 90% of the burden but we always will in any international effort. NATO countries are pretty well agreed with us on policies toward Iran and Russia as well.
