<I don't believe it. There has always been a lot of unfriendliness to America abroad and always will.>

Well, you're wrong. I lived in Germany for 3 years and and fiends there, Switzerland and France... as well as family in Canada.

Our stock has never been lower, this is common knowledge believe it or not.

Have you ever left the country?

Aside from living in New York City (the city that ACTUALLY got attacked), I travel to Europe 3x a year and to Asia 1-2x a year and I can tell you without a doubt, if America were a stock, it would be trading at pennies.

On the question of Obama versus McCain: people literally ask me all the time, "What is wrong with you people?"

When you say this in America people respond, "I don't care what others think."

Fine, that's a perfectly reasonable answer, but facts are facts, our stock is very low and McCain won't raise it.

As an aside, unlike Mr. Bush and the Christian right, my distance from the WTC was better measured in feet than miles. New Yorkers besides that traitor Giuliani know what this country needs and it's not more xenophobia.

And as much as we like to make fun of the French, if Middle America were stand up citizens, they would say, you know what, they were right about Iraq.

>>the opinion of us by our friends around the world is down sharply.
I don't believe it. There has always been a lot of unfriendliness to America abroad and always will.<<

That can only be described as willful ignorance.

I live in the UK. I have plenty of friends who are conservatives. I have voted conservative myself from time to time.
I cannot remember a time since Nixon when opinions of the US, and in particular your President, have been lower.

But of course you know better.
