AMAT, the quality stock among semi-equips, first hit today's price, back in early 1999. KLIC (at the other end of the quality scale) could be bought at today's price, back when Jimmy Carter was running for re-election.

Buy AMAT at 12-17, sell at 20-30, repeat. Does that sound like a reasonable trading plan for the rest of 2008?
