Lots of people are too sensitive about their pet prejudice.

Some are particularly responsive to every imagined offense.

I recall a fellow I hired once as a technician. He was good at his job and I had no problem with him. But one day at the 7-11 somebody got to the check out ahead of him, apparently out of turn. He put up a big stink about it, but another colleague was right behind him and explained that such things happen all the time to everybody, not just to Hispanics like him.

Much of what we call prejudice is simply imagined by the 'offended' party.
