Can you imagine how poe'd the Hollywood types are that he didn't pick Hillary for the ticket now?

Funny thing is; had Hillary won she would probably have picked Obama as her running mate. The line-up of a seasoned professional at the top, with new talent at the bottom makes a lot more sense than flipped upside down, (not that Hillary is all that seasoned, but that's the party line).

Obama and his minions are becoming more and more aware after self-emulating themselves over Palin's qualifications. The fact is, Obama is too junior, too liberal and too inexperienced to be President.

He has done nothing in his life to warrant such an appointment. And has had ZERO experience as CEO or an Executive.

Those who believe running a campaign is equivalent to running a company, or being an executive in the government, should seriously quit drinking from the Obama coolaid container. They have lost all objectivity.

It's actually kind of sad to see otherwise intelligent people on SI, so blinded by the Obama drug to claim such nonsense.

But now? I dunno

Why would Hillary take a ticket on a sinking ship? Switching VPs would be the end of it.

Nadine,

If Obama had originally picked her for VP, she would have been forced to accept, for the party's sake. But now? I dunno. The whole thing would be an admission that Obama blew it.

It would not be unprecendented for Dems. Do you remember when they switched candidates shortly before the elestion? It happened in New Jersey - Sen. Torricelli - when it was clear he was doomed. The move was questionable (legally), but for Dems, the ends justify the means...

If the election starts to look like a blowout for McCain, I would not be surprised if Dems tried to pull something like switching VPs.

Joe

Biden destroyed any chance for a replacement with his big mouth. It's remotely possible Democrats could have claimed some kind of medical emergency and replaced Biden, but nobody would buy it now.
