Last I heard, there were 42 million Democrats and 31 million Republicans, the rest independents. As Chafee said today, not only were Republicans energized by the Palin pick, so were Democrats. So, in that way, it is a good thing. Having people involved is extremely important; we can no longer let an active minority run this country. Young people are gonna inherit all these problems, so they'd better get informed and involved.
