I was not even listening to McCain. I was convinced not to waste my time on him by the people using the 'samo' argument. His opponents made it about family, motherhood, women's rights, community, faith and common decency when they began attacking Palin. Then I began to give McCain a second look and noticed, beneath that crotchety old white guy exterior is a man very worthy of respect and just as importantly, ready, willing, and capable of doing what he says he will do. When the self-absorbed Lizzies of the world initiated their malicious attack on those very values, they determined my vote for me.
