Please don't misunderstand me here, I'm about as far from being an Obama supporter as anyone could be. But I have to wonder, what difference does it make if an 8 or 10 yo kid is introduced to one religion or another? It seems clear to me that when he was old enough to think for himself, he chose a religion and stayed with it. His wacko mother probably gazed into crystals and prayed to passing comets, or some such thing. So what? His step dad hauled him along to a mosque a few times. So what? What he WAS is of less importance than what he IS. Any youthful confusion he may have had about religion now seems resolved. If you think he might be a "Manchurian Candidate" for some secret jihad, you should look for that, not where his parents might have dragged him as a little boy. Again, please don't misunderstand my comments as being in support of the guy, 'cuz I'm most certainly not. But, there are lots of things to criticize him for that are actually relevant. What school or mosque he went to as a young child aren't.
