...Unless the future shows a continued uptake of 'True Conservative' Libertarian values, as I expect.

The trendlines seem to clearly indicate that may be the case, (Libertarian viewpoints becoming more and more widespread among the general public), as numerous polls have indicated.

Declared Party affiliations among the two main political parties as been falling (as a percent of the general public) for decades now... so much so that "Independent" is the LARGEST declared political grouping in America now.

Declared "Libertarian" political allegiance is still small in the polls, yet sympathy to fundamental ideas identified with Libertarian political philosophy (small less intrusive central government, low taxes, personal liberty...) is more popular now than perhaps at any time since the 1950s
