This person may not realize they could be hedges against massive short positions.

There appear to be a lot of spreads in play on LEH options.

The glimmers of hope for LEH do not seem to be sparkling after hours. After bouncing to 4.2, it it's now cratering to 3.2 and look out below.
A sufficiently large crater may destabilize some of the nearby Wall Street structures. Everything gets revealed in a bankruptcy - game of chicken going on.
