Not really, but it is important to her. How many Libs complained that the sons and daughters of the President and VP didn't have children in a war zone? Well now they won't have to whine anymore. How about both? I know they have your vote just for that! Of course Biden and Obama never served and have no kids serving either.

I hope you got a chance to see Palin's interview with Charlie Gibson....fricking scary this woman would be a heartbeat from the presidency. Palin says U.S. could have to defend Georgia NATO treaty requires assistance if ex-Soviet republic is admitted, she notes. She didn't even know what the Bush Doctrine was! She couldn't answer questions on Israel-Iran-Pakistan-Russia. Joe Biden will eat her proverbial lunch at the debate.
