How much you want to bet we hear spin tomorrow that criticizing the gaping holes in Spectre's knowledge is just abuse by lefty policy wonks? That be the Rovian spin I'd expect. "They're just jealous because she connects with common people, not them," it will go, to gloss over the fact that she stands up and crows about Bush foreign policy without understanding one of the most basic philosophical and strategic rationales behind it. But philosophy and strategy are for wonks, right? "Real people" politicians don't need them. I haven't had much time to scan political stuff this week so let me know if that line shows up anywhere. ;<) The debate with Biden will be 90 minutes of more of the same and nowhere to hide, especially with an actual opponent to keep up with, not just a kindly anchor.
