I posted it not because I agree or disagree with it, but to provide factual information on the thoughts of a subset of electorate (my coworkers included).

Anyone rich or super rich person who has visited third world countries can see how miserable to live in that country. You can have a chauffer driven limo, many servants, beautiful house, etc. but when you step out of your house, you have beggars grabbing your ankles asking for money. You walk out further, and you smell urine from poor people relieving on the street. You are in your beautiful car, yet it rides bumpy since the road is full of potholes, and when it rains the street is flooded.

Yes, you earn 8 figures, but would you live in that environment? How many houses have been foreclosed, how many more homeless people are on the street? Remember the collapsed bridge in Minnesota due to lack or repair, or the levees that are neglected, and that every year you have the agony will the levee hold? How about infrastructures that need attention?

You are happy that your taxes are cut by Bush. But somebody has to support the government. The homeless people certainly won't pay any tax. The rich has so many loopholes to avoid taxes. Warren Buffet has said that he paid less tax - percentage wise than his secretary. Yes, the super rich pay less taxes since SocSec tax is capped near $ 100K, and anything above that is a reduction of around 7.75% + equal amount from employer.

Have we become selfish towards fellow citizens? Yet, we could send a billion $ to Georgia. Why not share a little for the overall benefit of the nation and that we can live in a nice, beautiful and loving environment?

I have not seen so much hatred amongst those having opposing viewpoints: lies, half truths, innuendos, cynical, demeaning community organizer, dogmatic, intolerant, hypocrites, me first "packaged in country first", no loyalty to the spouse, adultery, and the list goes on.

Tell anyone who plans to vote for McCain because he promises to cut taxes for the wealthy, just remember Bush I: Read my Lips, and he raised taxes. You can put lipstick on his lips, but he will still renege. Do you want to be rich but your surrounding area is the dump?
