You weren't the only one who noticed the editing. From an email received at NRO: Was it just me, or was that the most hastily-edited, smash-cut, Max Headroom splice job ever to go on national television? One could be forgiven for concluding they bumped the rest of interview to the end of the broadcast because they were STILL EDITING. (And as has been observed elsewhere, they seemed to have missed the lead-in on that YouTube church video. Oops). ABC, take another 24 hours, and do a professional job. The nation can wait for you to get it right.

Palin held her ground and refused to be intimidated. Still, the way this is being chopped up and spread out over days, I'm inclined to think Palin should have her own cameraman to cover her back and protect the integrity of the interviews she gives. * * *

Here's the first comment I came across on the ABC website. Let's hope there are many more similar comments. I am deeply offended by charlie taking one small section of a response and completely taking it out of context. I am a mid-40 working asian american female and registered ind.I have now llost all respect for charlie and will No longer watch his program. I now see that he is biased and I will share this with my community. H e has lost one viewer who, until today, had held him in high regard. nattrey Sep-11
