Nope.

From day one it was precisely as I described. Later, these other lesser concepts were tagged on. The thrust of the Bush Doctrine continues to be something that Matthews DID NOT EVEN MENTION.

Matthews knows no more about the Bush Doctrine than Palin. And he wasn't asked the question out of the blue -- he knew it before he began talking about it on the air.

This was a gotcha question. He didn't, however, "get her". The vast majority of Americans do not know what it means, and the fact that Matthews (and Colmes on H&C tonight) don't know suggests that Palin was no worse off than they on the question.
