;-) and ;-( Because I hear and respect both sides of the debate..I despise wasteful spending on programs that don't work while appreciating those that do..I've seen and lived them live and in color............Barack has been talking since the Dem partisan primaries that he doesn't like them either..... But we've got the most disparity between rich and poor in this nation since the Great Depression...cronies and hedge funs swimming in money while their secretaries struggle with bankruptcy because a family member has cancer...... I don't expect Obama to tackle and make whole everything that is wrong in his short tenure..the problems are much too broad and complex..but because of his non-allegiance to the lobbyists who ushered in this state of affairs, I expect him to build toward some level of fairness in domestic policy.. RE: foreign policy, I believe that indeed war is Obama's last option and I believe that he'd defend us as any R hawk would, if absolutely necessary but also work at preventing war!..he's got 2 daughters to protect and was raised by grandparents and Hawaii residents who were proud of what the right war can do for mankind...................
