Unless you are saying that because of their relative wealth before becoming Presidents or VPs, they never had such a life. In which case, I don't know how Obama fits into the discussion. He was not born with the proverbial oral silverware. Maybe I'm just misunderstanding you. But I'm really not sure that "typical" is what we're looking for in a world leader.
