Whether a senator or a governor makes a better president, I would not pretend to know. What I do know is that Sarah Palin is not ready to be either a VP or president.

That argument could only hold some water if the top of Dem ticket was not weaker than bottom of GOP ticket.

Fortunately, the top of the Dem ticket is much stronger than the top of the GOP ticket. I know this may be confusing to you all but senility is not a plus.
