What? Encouraging Georgia to join NATO You seem to be unaware of the fact that the other 3 candidates (McCain, Biden and Obama) have the identical position. That includes 2 that supposedly have some foreign policy experience (McCain, Biden). Excuse me, Lieberman just three weeks ago condemned Obama for taking a weaker position than McCain on Georgia and Russia and not encouraging Georgia to join NATO. Please show me where that has changed. so we can start a war with Russia? You all are nuts. Maybe you should read NATO charter: nato.int I repeat, Palin's answer was correct and measured. Did you even watch the interview or read the transcript? Frankly, you are discrediting yourself on this topic. I know how NATO works. Palin was correct in terms of what should happen should GA be a member of NATO but she clearly doesn't understand the consequences of that membership.
