I would really, really like to join you in your thinking. But I think I will hold off. But I agree with you regarding the slide. But I can't help laughing at your mention of Stockdale. Seems to me that Palin yesterday answered like "stockdale". "Charlie, why am I here. Who is Bush and why am I being asked about the Bush doctrine." I didn't notice any lipstick on her during the interview. She must have come to the interview to represent a bull-dog and not a hockey-mom. :)
