What do you think the motivation is here? I have no idea, although most liberal action has the quest for power at its core. I don't believe the Left is necessarily evil in its intent. It may well just be that they are misguided in their efforts. That is the case with, for example, condom distribution in schools. I know what we did, but how much time did you spend following your children's school life? A lot. My wife and I were both very involved. But that's beside the point. Our kids were 4-5-6-7 years old at the height of the AIDS scare. At the time, not a lot what was known about it other than it was incurable and was transmitted via bodily fluids. We discussed with our children when they see another person's blood they were to stay away from it -- adult or child. BUT WE WOULD NEVER, EVER at that age have discussed AIDs in the context of a STD. It would be utterly stupid to have done so and grossly incompetent parenting. Obama wants the schools to do this for us? Extremism. Plain and simple.
